Edi Gathegi is a Kenyan-American actor, born on March 10, 1979, in Nairobi, Kenya. He grew up in Albany, California, U.S. Gathegi is known for his roles in various television series and films. He appeared as Dr. Jeffrey Cole (aka 'Big Love') in the TV show House, Cheese in the film Gone Baby Gone, Laurent in the Twilight series, and Darwin in X-Men: First Class. He also played Baron Jacobee in Into the Badlands and Matias Solomon in The Blacklist. Gathegi has had a leading role in the TV drama series Startup and currently portrays Dev Ayesa in the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind.
