Mariette Hartley is an American film and television actress, born on June 21, 1940 in Weston, Connecticut. She is best known for her work with Bill Bixby on The Incredible Hulk (1978) and Goodnight, Beantown (1983–1984). Hartley also appeared in the original Star Trek episode 'All Our Yesterdays' (1969) and Sam Peckinpah's Ride the High Country (1962). In the 1970s and 1980s, she starred in a series of commercials alongside James Garner. Hartley's maternal grandfather was John B. Watson, an American psychologist who established the psychological school of behaviorism. She graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1965.
