Michael Durrell Biography
Michael Durrell, born Sylvester Joseph Ciraulo on October 6, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American actor. He started his career as attorney Peter Wexler on the CBS soap opera The Guiding Light. Durrell also appeared on Broadway in Cock-A-Doodle-Dandy in 1969. He portrayed police Lieutenant Moraga on the CBS crime drama Shannon from 1981 to 1982 and played Nicholas Stone on CBS's Alice from 1984 to 1985. Durrell gained recognition for his role as Robert Maxwell in the NBC science fiction miniseries V in 1983 and its sequel V: The Final Battle in 1984. He also appeared as D.A. Lloyd Burgess on Matlock and Dr. John Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210.
