Sebastian Armesto is a British actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. Born on June 3, 1982, he is the son of historian Felipe Fernández-Armesto. Armesto has appeared in various notable roles throughout his career. He portrayed Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor in the TV series The Tudors and Prince George in the 2008 ITV drama series The Palace. He also played Edmund Sparkler in the 2008 BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Little Dorrit. In addition, Armesto portrayed the Spanish King Ferdinand VI in the 2011 film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Ben Jonson in the film Anonymous. He has also made appearances in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the British sci-fi series Doctor Who.
