Aidan Laprete

Aidan Laprete, born on September 6, 2001, in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Laprete began his acting career at the age of 18 months in a TV pilot, 'The Break,' and continued to appear in commercials as a child. He gained recognition for his unique style of playing the ukulele as a pop instrument rather than in the traditional Hawaiian style. Laprete's passion for music started at a young age, and he began performing at local ukulele festivals at the age of six. In 2020, he rebranded from Aidan James to Laprete and embraced a new sound characterized by alternative pop music with electronic, hip hop, ambient, and UK garage influences.
