Aja L. Evans is an American Olympic medalist bobsledder who competes as a brakeman. Born on May 12, 1988, she began her athletic career at Morgan Park High School in Chicago, where she excelled in track and field as an All-American and City Champion in sprints and shot put. Evans went on to attend the University of Illinois, where she became a college record-setting, five-time All-American and three-time Big Ten Champion shot putter. After graduating, she transitioned to bobsledding and competed as a brakeman for various drivers, including Jamie Greubel, Elana Meyers, and Jazmine Fenlator. In the 2014 Winter Olympics, she represented the United States as a member of the bobsled team.
