Amrita Acharia, a Norwegian actress of Nepalese–Ukrainian origins, is known for her roles as Irri in Game of Thrones and Dr. Ruby Walker in The Good Karma Hospital. Born in Kathmandu, Nepal, Acharia grew up in Nepal, Ukraine, England, and Norway. After finishing high school in Norway, she moved to England at 19 to pursue acting and trained at ALRA. In Game of Thrones, Acharia played the role of Irri, a Dothraki servant of Daenerys Targaryen, in the first two seasons. Her character met a tragic end in the second season. Acharia's diverse background and talent have contributed to her success in the entertainment industry.
