Ayako Fujitani Biography
Ayako Fujitani is a Japanese actress and writer. Born in Osaka, Japan, she is the daughter of Steven Seagal and Miyako Fujitani. Fujitani began her acting career with a television appearance in Gamera: Guardian of the Universe after meeting director Shusuke Kaneko at a film festival. She also worked with him on an episode of Ultraman Max. Fujitani has had roles in films such as Sansa, Tokyo!, and Man from Reno. As a writer, she has contributed to the Japanese magazine Roadshow and has published novellas Touhimu (Flee-Dream) and Yakeinu (Burnt Dog). She co-adapted her novella Touhimu into the film Shiki-Jitsu and starred in the lead role.
