Ben Daniels Biography
Ben Daniels (born June 10, 1964) is a British actor known for his work on stage and screen. He began his career in theater and received critical acclaim for his performances in plays such as Never the Sinner (1991), 900 Oneonta (1994), and Martin Yesterday (1998). In 2001, he won the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in All My Sons. Daniels made his Broadway debut in 2008 in the revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, earning a Tony Award nomination. On television, he has appeared in popular series like Cutting It (2002-04), The Virgin Queen (2005), Law & Order: UK (2009-11), The Paradise (2013), House of Cards (2013-14), and The Exorcist (2016-17). Daniels also showcased his talent in the 2018 NBC live televised concert of Jesus Christ Superstar as Pontius Pilate.
