Ben Willbond Biography
Benjamin Thomas Willbond (born 18 January 1973) is an English actor and screenwriter. He gained popularity as a member of the British Horrible Histories troupe, appearing in the TV series Horrible Histories, Yonderland, and Ghosts. Willbond is best known for his various roles and contribution as a writer in the CBBC children's program Horrible Histories, which aired from 2009 to 2013. In the 2019 TV series Ghosts, he stars as 'Captain' alongside the same five actors from Horrible Histories. Additionally, he co-wrote the 2022 television comedy We Are Not Alone with Laurence Rickard. Willbond's early years were marked by frequent moves due to being a forces child, and he attended Stamford School in Lincolnshire. He has shared his experience of being bullied during his time there.
