Antwan André Patton, known professionally as Big Boi, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the renowned southern hip hop duo Outkast, alongside André 3000. Born on February 1, 1975, in Savannah, Georgia, Big Boi spent the first half of his childhood there before relocating to Atlanta. At Tri-Cities High School, a visual and performing arts magnet school, he developed a passion for music.
