Bo Hopkins Biography
Bo Hopkins (1938-2022) was an American actor known for his supporting roles in major studio films from 1969 to 1979. He also appeared in numerous television shows and TV movies throughout his career. Born as William Mauldin Hopkins in Greenville, South Carolina, he was adopted at nine months old. Growing up, he was called 'Billy.' His adoptive father worked in a mill, but tragically passed away when Hopkins was young. After moving to a new residence with his mother, Hopkins had a difficult relationship with his stepfather. He later pursued a career in acting and gained recognition for his performances in both film and television.
