Bob Ricks
Robert A. Ricks, known as Bob Ricks and 'Backdraft Bob,' is an American law enforcement agent and politician. He has held various positions in law enforcement, including working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and serving as the FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge during the 1993 Waco Siege and the FBI Special Agent in Charge during the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing investigation. After retiring from federal service, Ricks served as the Oklahoma Secretary of Safety and Security under Governor Frank Keating from 1995 to 2003. He was also appointed as the Commissioner of the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety by Keating. Ricks was born in Houston, Texas, and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in 1967.
