Carl Weathers (born January 14, 1948) is an American actor, director, and former professional football player. He gained recognition for his roles in the Rocky film series as the boxer Apollo Creed, as well as his role in the film Predator as George Dillon. Weathers also appeared in movies such as Action Jackson, Happy Gilmore, and Little Nicky. He has portrayed Det. Beaudreaux in the television series Street Justice and a fictionalized version of himself in Arrested Development. Weathers has lent his voice to characters in the Toy Story franchise and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Currently, he is known for his recurring role as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Before his acting career, Weathers played college football at San Diego State University and later signed with the Oakland Raiders and the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League.
