Danny A. Abeckaser (דני א. אביכזר) is an Israeli-born American actor and filmmaker. He was born in Israel to Moroccan Jewish parents and grew up in Brooklyn. Abeckaser produced and acted in the film Holy Rollers (2010) alongside Jesse Eisenberg. He also played Dino Lapron in The Iceman (2012) with Michael Shannon and Winona Ryder, and had a small role in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) directed by Martin Scorsese. Abeckaser's first starring role was in A Stand Up Guy (2016), and he made his directorial debut with First We Take Brooklyn (2018), co-starring alongside Harvey Keitel. He appeared in a scene with Robert De Niro in The Irishman (2019). Abeckaser married Instagram model May Almakaies in May 2022 in Israel, with Leonardo DiCaprio as one of the wedding guests.
