Danny Baker Biography
Danny Baker (born 22 June 1957) is an English comedy writer, journalist, radio DJ, and screenwriter. He started his career writing for the punk zine Sniffin' Glue and later worked for the New Musical Express as a writer, reviewer, and interviewer. In 1980, he transitioned to television, presenting London Weekend Television's Twentieth Century Box and reporting for The Six O'Clock Show. Baker began radio presenting for BBC Radio London in 1989 and joined BBC Radio 5 in 1990. However, he was dismissed in 1997 after being accused of inciting threatening behavior toward a football referee. Throughout his career, he also wrote for television. From 2002 to 2012, Baker hosted the daily morning radio show on BBC Radio London and presented the channel's all-day podcast, the All Day.
