David Graf Biography
David Graf (April 16, 1950 – April 7, 2001) was an American actor best known for his role as Sgt. Eugene Tackleberry in the Police Academy series of films. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Graf studied theatre at Otterbein College before dropping out to pursue acting. He made his first television appearance on The $20,000 Pyramid and went on to take small roles in popular TV shows like M*A*S*H, The Dukes of Hazzard, Airwolf, Hardcastle and McCormick, and The A-Team. Graf's film debut was in 1981, playing Gergley in The Private Eyes. Throughout his career, he appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, solidifying his place as a recognizable actor in Hollywood.
