David Seaman Biography
David Seaman is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born on September 19, 1963, he had a successful career from 1981 to 2004. Seaman gained recognition for his time playing for Arsenal, where he won three league championships, four FA Cups, the League Cup, and the European Cup Winners Cup. He also represented England, earning 75 caps and becoming the country's second-most capped goalkeeper. Seaman participated in the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups, as well as Euro 96 and Euro 2000. In 1997, he was awarded the MBE for his services to football. Seaman also played for Manchester City, Peterborough United, Birmingham City, and Queens Park Rangers in his career.
