DeVaughn Walter Nixon is an American actor, born on July 8, 1983, in Los Angeles. He is best known for his roles in movies such as The Bodyguard, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Sugar Hill. Nixon has also appeared in television series including Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Mackenzie Falls, and Marvel's Runaways. In Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, he portrayed his own father, former basketball player Norm Nixon. His stepmother is actress/producer/director/dancer Debbie Allen, and he has half-siblings including dancer Vivian Nixon and basketball player Norman Ellard Nixon Jr. Nixon is married to Lara Nixon. He briefly paused his acting career to pursue his studies and graduated in television.
