Devon Bostick is a Canadian actor known for his roles in both film and television. He was born on November 13, 1991, in Toronto, Ontario. Bostick gained recognition for his portrayal of Rodrick Heffley in the first three Diary of a Wimpy Kid films. He also starred in the Atom Egoyan-directed film Adoration in 2008 and portrayed Jasper Jordan on the dystopian science fiction television series The 100 from 2014 to 2017. Bostick comes from an acting family, with his mother Stephanie Gorin being a casting director and his father Joe Bostick being an actor and film fight coordinator. He is of English and Norwegian descent and began acting in fifth grade. Bostick has appeared in various other television series such as Degrassi: The Next Generation, Flashpoint, and Rookie Blue, as well as films like Godsend, Fugitive Pieces, and The Stone Angel.
