Doc Hammer Biography
Doc Hammer, born Eric Hammer on February 2, 1965, is an American voice actor, musician, writer, and artist. He gained recognition as a member of gothic rock bands Requiem in White (1985-1995) and Mors Syphilitica (1995-2002), alongside his former spouse Lisa Hammer. Doc Hammer has been involved in numerous film projects, often collaborating with Lisa through their production company Blessed Elysium, where he contributed as a writer, actor, composer, designer, and visual effects artist. He composed the music for the 1997 film A, B, C... Manhattan. However, he is most well-known as the co-creator, writer, and editor of the animated TV series The Venture Bros. (2004-2020), where he also voiced various recurring characters such as Billy Quizboy, Henchman 21, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, and Dermott Fictel. The show was produced under Hammer and Christopher McCulloch's company Astro-Base Go. Additionally, Doc Hammer is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Weep, formed in 2008.
