Frances Sternhagen Biography
Frances Sternhagen (born January 13, 1930) is an American actress who has been active in the entertainment industry since the 1950s. She has appeared on both on- and off-Broadway, in movies, and on TV. Sternhagen received her education at the Madeira and Potomac schools in McLean, Virginia, and later attended Vassar College and the Catholic University of America as a graduate student. She studied acting at the Perry Mansfield School of the Theatre and the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Sternhagen began her career as a teacher, and later performed in various theater productions. She is known for her roles in movies and TV shows, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.
