Frank Gilhooley
Frank Gilhooley Sr. (June 10, 1892 – July 11, 1959) was a professional baseball outfielder who played primarily as a right fielder in Major League Baseball. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals (1911–1912), New York Yankees (1913–1918), and Boston Red Sox (1919). Born in Toledo, Ohio, Gilhooley attended Central Catholic High School. Over his nine-season career, he had a batting average of .271 with two home runs and 58 RBI in 312 games. Gilhooley's most successful season was in 1918 with the Yankees, where he hit .276. He played 285 games in the outfield, mainly in right field, and had a .957 fielding percentage.
