Franky G, born Frank Gonzales on October 30, 1965, is an American film and television actor. He gained recognition for his performances in various movies, including the role of Xavier in Saw II and Wrench in the 2003 remake of The Italian Job. Franky G has also portrayed Lupus in Confidence and Detective Cruz in Wonderland. Born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City, Franky G's parents immigrated from Puerto Rico. Before pursuing acting, he played semi-professional football and worked as a bouncer and security guard in New York clubs. Franky G studied criminal law in college and got his start in acting after responding to an ad in Backstage magazine for the film Manito. His talent quickly caught attention, leading to further roles in both film and television.
