Gregory Alan Morton, born on October 8, 1953, is a former American football player who played as a defensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills during the 1977 NFL season. Prior to his professional career, Morton played college football at the University of Michigan from 1973 to 1976. He was a starting defensive tackle for the Michigan Wolverines football team, with 34 starts in 35 games from 1974 to 1976. In 1976, he was recognized as college football's defensive player of the year by the ABC television network. Morton was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended Akron Central High School. He became the first student from Central-Hower High School to earn an NCAA Division I football scholarship.
