Hakeem Kae-Kazim Biography
Hakeem Kae-Kazim is a Nigerian-British actor and producer, born on 1 October 1962. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Georges Rutaganda in the film Hotel Rwanda (2004) and won a SAFTA for his performance in Riding with Sugar (2020). Kae-Kazim has also made notable contributions to television, including roles in the CBC miniseries Human Cargo (2004), the Starz series Black Sails (2014–2016), and the BBC series Troy: Fall of a City (2018). Born in Lagos and raised in South London, Kae-Kazim's passion for acting developed through school plays and the National Youth Theatre. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and later joined the Royal Shakespeare Company for further classical training.
