    Helen Elizabeth George (born 19 June 1984) is an English actress known for her role as Trixie Franklin on the BBC drama series Call the Midwife. Born in Harborne, Birmingham, George grew up in Winchester, Hampshire. She attended Henry Beaufort School and trained in ballet, becoming a junior associate at Birmingham Royal Ballet. George also had a passion for sports and competed in the long jump. In addition to her acting career, she participated in the thirteenth series of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in sixth place with partner Aljaž Skorjanec. George was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for her contribution to the cast recording of Cinderella.
