    Jackie Clune is a British actress and writer, known for her work in both cabaret and mainstream acting. Born on December 13, 1965, in Harlow, Essex, she is the third of four children to Irish Roman Catholic parents. After graduating with a degree in drama from the University of Kent, Clune worked as a full-time drama lecturer at the Royal Holloway College and also had a career as a radio journalist. She gained recognition through her one-woman cabaret shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and her Karen Carpenter tribute act in 1995. Clune's talent and versatility have allowed her to establish herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
