Kathy Kinney Biography
Kathy Kinney is an American actress, voice actress, and comedian. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Mimi Bobeck, the flamboyant and vindictive nemesis of Drew Carey on the sitcom The Drew Carey Show. Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Irish American parents, Kinney's father passed away when she was 15. After high school, she worked for the California Conservation Corps before attending the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. In 1976, she moved to New York City and found work as a secretary at WCBS-TV. Kinney has been involved in television, feature film, and stage work throughout her career.
