Kulvinder Ghir Biography
Kulvinder Ghir (born 10 August 1965) is a British actor, comedian, and writer. He gained recognition as a cast member on the BBC sketch show Goodness Gracious Me (1998–2015). Ghir's notable film roles include Aslam in Rita, Sue and Bob Too! (1987) and Poly Verisof in Foundation. Born in Nairobi, Kenya to Indian Punjabi parents of Sikh heritage, Ghir grew up in Leeds, England. He began performing on stage at 13 and later attended a drama school in London. Ghir made his television debut in 1981 on The Extraordinary People Show and went on to appear in the BBC drama Howards' Way in 1985.
