Larry Richard Drake (February 21, 1949 – March 17, 2016) was an American actor and comedian. He gained fame for his role as Benny Stulwicz in the TV series L.A. Law, winning two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Drake also appeared in movies such as Darkman and Darkman II: The Return of Durant, where he played the character Robert G. Durant, and Dr. Giggles, where he portrayed a homicidal mental patient. Additionally, he provided the voice for the character Pops in the animated series Johnny Bravo. Drake was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from Tulsa Edison High School and the University of Oklahoma.
