Larry Floyd

Larry David Floyd (born May 1, 1961) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey centre and coach. He played for various professional teams from 1982 until 1984, including the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Floyd also had experience in roller hockey, playing for the San Diego Barracudas in the RHI. Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Floyd began his hockey career playing for the Peterborough Petes from 1978 to 1982. Despite not being drafted by the NHL, he signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Devils in 1982 and made his NHL debut in February 1983. Floyd played a total of 82 games throughout his career.
