Lothaire Bluteau (born 14 April 1957) is a Canadian actor known for his work in theatre, film, and television. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Bluteau is bilingual, performing in both French and English. He gained recognition for his portrayal of a mentally challenged youth in Yves Simoneau's In the Shadow of the Wind (Les Fous de Bassan). Bluteau won a best actor Genie Award for his performance in Denys Arcand's Jésus de Montréal and has appeared in films such as Black Robe, Orlando, and I Shot Andy Warhol. On television, he had a recurring role in the third season of 24 and played Charles de Marillac in the fourth season of The Tudors.
