Matyelok Gibbs Biography
Matyelok Gibbs (1 August 1932 – 14 August 2023) was a British actress known for her diverse roles in film and television. From 1973 to 1977, she served as the artistic director for London's Unicorn Theatre. Gibbs began living with actor Ursula Jones in 1961, and the couple entered a civil partnership in both France and Britain. During their 23 years in France, they were known affectionately as 'Puck and Ursie' among friends. Throughout her career, Gibbs appeared in a variety of notable films, including 'Victor/Victoria' (1982), 'A Room with a View' (1985), and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' (2010). She passed away on 14 August 2023.
