Mike Binder Biography
Mike Binder (born June 2, 1958) is an American filmmaker, stand-up comedian, and actor. He grew up in the Detroit suburb of Birmingham and is of Russian-Jewish descent. Binder began his career as a screenwriter and stand-up comedian, with his first screenplay, Coupe de Ville, premiering in 1990. He made his directorial debut in 1992 with the film Crossing the Bridge. Binder achieved further success with his 2001-02 HBO comedy series, The Mind of the Married Man, in which he co-wrote, co-directed, and starred as the central character 'Micky Barnes'. Throughout his career, Binder has worked on various film and television projects, showcasing his talents as a versatile filmmaker and entertainer.
