Christopher Nicholas Parsons (10 October 1923 – 28 January 2020) was an English actor, straight man, and radio and television presenter. He was best known as the long-running presenter of the comedy radio show Just a Minute and as the host of the game show Sale of the Century in the 1970s and early 1980s. Parsons began his acting career following World War II and appeared in various theatre, film, and television roles. He gained popularity as a guest on several TV shows, including Doctor Who and Have I Got News for You. Parsons was born and raised in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and educated at St Paul's School, London.
