Nicholas Worth (September 4, 1937 – May 7, 2007) was an American character actor known for his menacing and threatening roles. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 4, 1937, Worth served as a paratrooper in the army for three years before studying at the Carnegie Institute of Technology and Pasadena Playhouse. He began his career with low-level TV appearances, including an episode of Charlie's Angels as a kidnapper-on-skates. Worth gained recognition for his portrayal of Kirk Smith, a tormented necrophiliac serial killer, in the horror film Don't Answer the Phone (1980), and as Ray, a fearsome homosexual rapist in the TV movie The Rape of Richard Beck (1985). He also appeared in films such as Swamp Thing (1982), City Heat (1984), and Hell Comes to Frogtown (1988).
