Norah Jones (born Geethali Norah Jones Shankar; March 30, 1979) is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. She gained worldwide recognition with her debut album Come Away with Me in 2002, which fused jazz with country, blues, folk, and pop. The album sold over 27 million copies and earned her five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. Jones continued to achieve success with her subsequent studio albums Feels Like Home (2004), Not Too Late (2007), The Fall (2009), and Little Broken Hearts (2012). Billboard named her the top jazz artist of the 2000s decade, and she has won a total of nine Grammy Awards in her career.
