He is recognized as a master of the blues, particularly the Delta blues style, and one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Johnson's landmark recordings in 1936 and 1937 showcased his exceptional singing, guitar skills, and songwriting talent, which have influenced generations of musicians. Despite his short recording career of only seven months, Johnson's impact on the music industry is undeniable. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the first ever rock stars.
