Rodney A. Grant Biography
Rodney Arnold Grant (born March 9, 1959) is an American actor known for his role as 'Wind In His Hair' in the 1990 film Dances with Wolves. Raised on the Omaha Reservation in Macy, Nebraska, Grant was raised by his grandparents after being abandoned by his biological parents. In addition to Dances with Wolves, he has appeared in films including Ghosts of Mars, Wild Wild West, Geronimo: An American Legend, and Powwow Highway. Grant also portrayed 'Chingachgook' in the television series Hawkeye and had guest roles in series such as Due South, Two, and Stargate SG-1. He portrayed the warrior Crazy Horse in the TV movie Son of the Morning Star. Grant is a member of the Omaha tribe and has been active in youth activities.
