Sally Kirkland Biography
Sally Kirkland (born October 31, 1941) is an American film, television, and stage actress and producer. She has appeared in over 250 film and television productions throughout her 60-year career. Kirkland was a member of Andy Warhol's The Factory and a prominent figure in 1960s New York avant-garde theater. She received critical acclaim for her role in Anna (1987), earning her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Kirkland also won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for the same role. She has been recognized by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the Independent Spirit Awards. Kirkland is known for her notable performances in Cold Feet (1989), Best of the Best (1989), JFK (1991), and Bruce Almighty (2003).
