Sebastian Maniscalco is an American stand-up comedian and actor. Born on July 8, 1973, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Maniscalco is best known for his physical comedy. He has released six comedy specials and has had supporting acting roles in the films Green Book (2018) and The Irishman (2019), where he played mobster Joe Gallo. Maniscalco co-wrote and co-starred in the 2023 film About My Father alongside Robert De Niro, portraying his own father. Maniscalco's parents are Italian immigrants, with his father coming from Cefalù, Sicily, and his mother having origins in Naples, Campania, and Sicily. He is a Roman Catholic and attended Rolling Meadows High School.
