Thomas G. Waites Biography
Thomas G. Waites (born January 8, 1955) is an American actor and acting instructor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Waites is known for his work in movies and TV shows. He runs an acting studio in New York City that bears his name. Waites has been a member of the Actors Studio since 1984. After completing grade school and high school in Pennsylvania, he received a full scholarship to study acting at the Juilliard School in New York City. He later earned a B.A. degree in Writing from The New School and a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting from the University of Iowa. At the age of 21, Waites was offered roles in two movies simultaneously, Snowbound and Pity the Poor Soldier.
