Timothy Bottoms Biography
Timothy James Bottoms (born August 30, 1951) is an American actor and film producer. He rose to fame for his lead role in Johnny Got His Gun (1971) and as Sonny Crawford in The Last Picture Show (1971), alongside Cybill Shepherd and Jeff Bridges. Bottoms is also known for his portrayal of James Hart in the film adaptation of The Paper Chase (1973), where he played a first-year law student. He has appeared in various other films, including Rollercoaster (1977) and has portrayed President George W. Bush in multiple projects such as That's My Bush! and DC 9/11: Time of Crisis. Bottoms was born in Santa Barbara, California, and graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1970.
