Timothy Hutton is an American actor and film director. He was born on August 16, 1960, in Malibu, California. Hutton became the youngest recipient of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor at the age of 20, winning for his role in the film Ordinary People (1980). Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous feature films including Taps (1981), The Falcon and the Snowman (1985), and The Dark Half (1993). Hutton has also made notable television appearances, starring as Archie Goodwin in A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2000-2002) and Nathan 'Nate' Ford in Leverage (2008-2012). He had a role in the first season of the Amazon streaming drama series Jack Ryan.
