Tom McCamus Biography
Tom McCamus (born July 25, 1955) is a Canadian film and theatre actor. He gained critical acclaim for his role as a mental patient in the historical drama Beautiful Dreamers (1991). McCamus is most widely known for his works on the television show Mutant X and drama film Room. He won the Genie Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of struggling actor Henry Adler in I Love a Man in Uniform (1993), directed by David Wellington. McCamus has been nominated for the Genie Award on two occasions. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, McCamus was brought up in London, Ontario, and attended the University of Windsor's school of dramatic art.
