Townsend Coleman Biography
Townsend Putnam Coleman III (born May 28, 1954) is an American voice actor known for his work in animated series and TV commercials since the early 1980s. Born in New York City, Coleman's family relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1955. He started his career as a disc jockey for WGCL in Cleveland, Ohio in the late 1970s. Coleman has voiced iconic characters such as Michaelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wayne Gretzky in ProStars, Jason Whittaker in Adventures in Odyssey, and the title characters in Where's Wally? and The Tick. He has also appeared in various plays with Jerry Leonard's Heights Youth Theater ensemble in Ohio.
