Vincent Guastaferro Biography
Vincent Guastaferro is an American film, stage, and television actor. Born on April 6, 1950, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Guastaferro is best known for his recurring role as Sgt. Vincent Agostini in the popular American police procedural television series NYPD Blue. He attended the University of Toledo, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and later pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree at The Theatre School at DePaul University. Guastaferro began his career in 1979, making his stage debut in the production of Sexual Perversity in Chicago, where he replaced actor Jim Belushi. He has appeared in several of David Mamet's stage plays and has made notable film and television appearances since his debut in 1980.
