Waris Ahluwalia is an Indian-American designer and actor based in New York City. Born in 1974 in Amritsar, Punjab, India, he migrated to the United States with his family at the age of five and grew up in Brooklyn. Ahluwalia is the founder of House of Waris, a company that collaborates with other designers and artists. His elaborate diamond rings caught the attention of Maxfield's in Los Angeles, leading to a successful collaboration. While primarily known as a designer, Ahluwalia has also ventured into acting.
