Albert Finney Biography
Albert Finney (9 May 1936 – 7 February 2019) was an English actor known for his work in theatre, film, and television. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and gained recognition in the early 1960s with his debut in The Entertainer (1960). Finney's notable films include Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960), Tom Jones (1963), Scrooge (1970), Annie (1982), Erin Brockovich (2000), Big Fish (2003), and Skyfall (2012). He received several awards including BAFTA, Golden Globe, Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, Silver Bear, and Volpi Cup. Finney was also nominated for an Academy Award four times for Best Actor in films like Tom Jones (1963) and Murder on the Orient Express (1974).
